Giving Back

We donate 5% of our profits to mutual aid organizations and non-profits in line with the ethos and mission of our brand. Various collections and design categories go to corresponding causes. We donate to Dolly’s Dream Home Rabbit Rescue, a local St. Louis rabbit rescue, Metro Trans Umbrella Group, another St. Louis non-profit, and Sulala Animal Rescue, an animal rescue in Gaza, Palestine. Our hope is to expand to other organizations as we grow!

Dolly’s Dream Home Rabbit Rescue (Dolly’s) is particularly near and dear to our founders as their bunnies are Dolly’s Dream Home alums, including our beloved Clementine, the inspiration behind ‘Clem’. Rabbits are the third most surrendered and dumped pet after dogs and cats in the United States. Most people see bunnies as more disposable than dogs and cats and purchase them on a whim despite them living 8-12 years and having special care required. Dolly’s receives over 100 surrender requests per week or sometimes even in a single day, and though it is impossible for their foster-based team to keep up, they have still managed to save nearly 1500 bunnies since their start in 2020. They also help other rabbit rescues across the U.S. with getting their start and rescuing more dire, large cases. Dolly’s offers a free virtual education course that people from all over the world have used as a resource. It only takes 45 minutes, so if you are interested in finding out if adopting a bunny could be for you, try it out here: Dolly's Dream Home Educational Course .

When you see Clem & Friends in any of our designs, 5% of the profit will be donated to Dolly’s.

Founded by a lesbian duo, Clem & Co. is committed to supporting the LGBT community in St. Louis. With the lives and rights of LGBT, specifically trans people, being targeted and the general rise of transphobia largely due to the current administration, organizations like Metro Trans Umbrella Group (MUTG) are incredibly relevant important to the livelihood of trans people in our home city. This organization provides a vast scope of resources for the trans, genderqueer, androgynous, and intersex people in the St. Louis Metro Area through community visibility, advocacy, and education. This includes services such as name change assistance, access to a database with trans-affirming resources across the city, a community center and events as well as a partnership with a local Planned Parenthood affiliate for expanding gender-affirming care.

When you purchase anything from our St. Louis collections along with all pop culture and LGBT specific designs, 5% of the profit is donated to MTUG.

Sulala Animal Rescue - سلالة

At Clem & Co., we recognize our responsibility to not only help organizations in our own community but also ones suffering under the detrimental effects of American imperialism as our struggles are inextricably linked. Since 2023, the genocide of Palestinians in Gaza, perpetrated by the U.S. and Israel, has devastated not only the Palestinian people, their homes, and their history, even wiping out entire families from existence, but also the animals in Gaza. Over the course of the genocide, Palestinians have shown nothing but love and care for the animals in their community, despite going through countless horrors themselves. Displacement, starvation, shut off power and water as well as incessant bombing are among the atrocities inflicted by Israel on every living being in Gaza. Clem the Bunny wanted to pay it forward to all of her Palestinian animal friends by working with Sulala Animal Rescue in Gaza. They have kept their operation running throughout the genocide, providing stray animals with food, shelter, medical care despite the blockades from Israel making it near impossible to receive aid.

When you purchase anything related to Palestine, along with all of our collections/products that do not fall under the efforts listed above, such as our Pasta Party and Farmer’s Market series, 5% of the profit is donated to Sulala Animal Rescue.
